We strongly believe 4th String is essential to the sports video gaming landscape, which is why we've created an audience-funded (at least for now) sports gaming web site and podcast on the heels of the late 1UP.com's Sports Anomaly.  

We need to fundraise at least $33.12 every month (for our podcast and web fees), and we'll do the rest gratis. If we don't raise $33.12 a month for two straight months, we get the hint, and we'll fold up our tent and resume shouting our sports gaming opinions off the nearest balcony. If we raise more than that: awesome, because the people on the show, those write for the web site, and those that develop it, deserve more than the pennies they're paid for their work (though, we're all on board with the idea that pennies will do). 

If you don't have the money to donate — no sweat, we know how that goes, but please do us the other favor of listening to our podcast, following us on Twitter, and generally spreading the word. Enough people do that, we won't need to be audience-supported, just audience-beloved.
